Fans of the massively popular anime “NARUTO” are in for a treat! A completely new series is set to premiere on TV Tokyo on September 3rd. This compact series, consisting of four episodes, has been crafted to celebrate the anime’s 20th broadcast anniversary in 2022. The original “NARUTO” revolves around the life of the ninja protagonist Uzumaki Naruto as he strives to become the Hokage – the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village – overcoming bitter rivalries and a tumultuous past. Serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 1999 to 2014, the original manga spans 72 volumes and has exceeded 250 million copies in global circulation.

Since its anime debut on TV Tokyo in 2002, “NARUTO” has continued to grow in popularity. From 2007, the sequel series “NARUTO: Shippuden” aired until March 2017, accompanied by 11 theatrical releases.
