“Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki,” also known as “The Low Tier Character ‘TOMOZAKI-kun’,” is a Japanese light novel series by Yuki Yaku, with illustrations provided by Fly. It has been published by Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko since May 2016.
The light novel series has achieved numerous accolades, including winning an award in the 10th Shogakukan Light Novel Award in 2015 and consistently securing a place in the top 10 of “Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!” for five years. The series has sold over 1.2 million copies as of January 2021.
Season 1 of the anime covered volumes 1 to 3 of the original light novel. Therefore, it’s anticipated that season 2 will animate the subsequent volumes.
